  • This is probably the most old school authentic German restaurant that I have ever been to, and it is suuuuper cute, both inside and out. It is located in downtown Glendale, and it is a great spot to stop at either before or after a Cardinals game or if you are simply on the west side of Phoenix. The outdoor seating area is a cool spot to hang out in if the weather is nice. All the food I have had there is absolutely delicious - I have tried several of their sausages, schnitzel, stuffed mushrooms, pork dishes, etc... and I LOVE LOVE LOVE their sauerkraut & spaetzle!! The service is always pretty decent, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is great - very relaxed, chill, and usually the managers are quite attentive... they will typically personally come check on you and ask if everything is okay, and make sure you enjoyed your meal!! :) If you love German food ... you should definitely try this place out, because it is AWESOME & AUTHENTIC!!
