  • As in Wrigley gum? Yep. The story of the Wrigley Mansion confirmed this during my visit for dinner several weeks ago. It's atop a mountain so you get to see the city. Honestly, I had way too much drink there to even do a tour. But from what I remember, great drinks, good food, beautiful views, and a nice bar where we were able to catch some of the NBA playoffs. Sure, a great place to have a wedding reception or party of such. It's not too big, at least where we were, so I'm thinking 75 people max would be comfortable. Again, I drank it up so I could be totally wrong. Oh, the piano in the room to the left is apparently worth $20,000,000. I could type the word million but all those zeroes make a difference when you actually read it. My drunk ass even tried to play a tune. I vividly remember an employee of the mansion suggesting that I should step away from the piano. She pretty much saved my financial future. Next time I'll do a tour so I can really appreciate what this place is all about.
