I loved this place so much so I decided to take my niece this weekend for her birthday. Everything was fine until we got into the aquarium area. They have a stingray pool, we walked in and I could hear someone talking with instructions, but it was packed so it was hard to pay attention let alone hear, especially with kiddos running around and trying to get everyone situated and such. We got up to the pool, I stuck my hand in to touch a stingray, probably up to about my elbow and the instructor, who was in the room on a MIC (I had no idea!) SCREAMED at me!! "We don't do that! We don't stick our arms in the pool! Ma'am! You! You in the pink! WE DON'T DO THAT!!" Shaking her finger even and pointing at me.
It was absolutely and utterly embarrassing, especially in a room full of people and she carried on entirely too long about it. Another woman next to my sister was even making comments to her husband about how rude she was and that she clearly needs a new job. I understand if I did something wrong, but the way she handled the situation was SO uncalled for. Would she have yelled at my 4 year old niece like that?? I'm an adult so I can take it, but that would be enough to send any kid running, and probably crying. What a shame!
