  • I moved here for the location and because it's the cheapest place around; plus super low deposits. However, the energy bill is extremely high, ranging from $80 in the summer to $185 in the winter, for a one bedroom apartment. The HVAC doesn't work well and they won't bother to bring in a professional HVAC person to come and fix it. So I am stuck paying a ridiculous amount altogether. I could've moved into a newer place with a higher base rent with a lower energy bill and would probably be paying less or the same. But at least it would be an upgraded place! So, before moving in, ask them to see he previous attendants energy bills... It's legal to ask that! Lesson learned :(
