| - My SILs had been telling me about this market, while we were at Glacier Snow I spotted it across the way. It is in a very busy car park, but fantastic rewards await the patient people who venture inside.
It is quite large, the aisles are divided into regions of Asia (and South America? We saw Colombia, Brazil & Mexico represent!) The one bummer was that they had no Kit Kats in the Japanese section, but I got some Pocky!
The produce is fresh, plentiful, and generally inexpensive. The refrigerated sections had noodles galore, gyoza, siu Mai, miso pastes, kimchi, condiments...soooo much it was dizzying.
The fish market and live fish are what I was most interested in this day and was very pleased with the selections. We chose live Manila Clams, live lobsters, and perused an impressive array of fish swimming about in large aquariums; prices were very reasonable.
We will definitely order our seafood from Lee Lee for Christmas Eve and my "Dish of the Seven Fish" and more. Some reviews mentioned them cooking fresh fish for you here, but we were in a hurry in the heat of summer to get that live seafood right home, so I did not see this, the butcher or the bakery.
We are fans, with much more exploring to do!
