  • Working from home means that I don't have many reasons to leave the house but Moonbean Coffee Company is a regular exception. Running out to grab a double is often the first thing I do when I wake up. Even before showering or taking the dogs out (sorry dogs). I'm predictable and unimaginative with my double americano but on occasion will have a soy matcha latte, hot lemon soother or one of their yummy juices if I'm feeling out of sorts. All the drinks here, especially espresso-based, are of the highest quality and prepared with attention to detail. Food is good. I like the super bagel (breakfast bagel with egg, cheese and tomato and spices) and tuna melt the best. They have vegan options too if that's your thing. Front patio is great for Kensington Market's favourite pastime - people watching. Back patio is great for reading a book and wasting away the afternoon (look for the rocker chair). You'll find me at least once a week in the back working on my laptop (tethered cause they don't have wifi) early in the morning when I can't sleep. Definitely a favourite of mine. I recommend this to everyone.
