  • With the location of Fat Boy pretty convenient to both my work and house, it makes it an easy stop to on my way home to pick up some food and have it piping hot when I get home. The menu is extensive with the focus on their burgers and the family that owns this spot are all some of the nicest people you'll come across. Since everything is made to order, your wait is about 15 minutes before your food is ready. So your best bet is to call your order in or order online using the Eat 24 app for pick up. You'll find just about everything on their menu, which is good if others in your group aren't in the mood for burgers. With all the burgers priced in the single digits, you won't break the bank if you decide to feed your family here. Especially, if you choose one of their family specials, which are all around the $25 range and you get an insane amount of food. The family members operating this business are always welcoming and willing to help you out if you have any questions. Although I haven't formally introduced myself to them, they do recognize me and thank me every time I come in. I haven't tried the pizza or the shakes yet, but the wings were on the small side which was expected for their price and the boyrrito was pretty standard, but not impressive enough to order again. The buns and usual toppings for the burgers are OK, but I go without the chipotle mayo. The most important component for me is the beef and it is also satisfactory, but always overcooked to well done leaving the flavorful juices to sizzle away on the flat top. I've requested to have the burger cooked medium, but they said "we'll try" and when I took a bite, it was Mojave Desert dry. Fat or skinny, the fries aren't fresh cut, but are usually pretty good if they're not over seasoned. You're guaranteed that nothing has been sitting around when you get your made to order food. And this local business is worth a try if you're in the area. The burgers aren't my favorite, but they're good enough for me that if I'm craving a burger, I'd rather keep my money in Henderson and support this hard working family instead of giving it to some actual fat boy who has never manned a grill in his life and is sitting with his feet propped up on his desk in some corporate office.
