I went to go return a bottle of fire retardant spray. I bought two but only needed one. The woman told me no returns, she pointed to a list of on the counter that was partially covered up with a display of thinks that cannot be returned. I informed her my item was not on that list, she said, "no paint!" in a rude snappy tone. I told her this was not paint. She went on to say that it meant all sprays. I told her this is not what the list said and generally when you buy something non returnable, the clerk should tell you before you pay for it. She then went on to claim that I had used and damaged the product, which of course I didn't, and could be clearly verified by checking it against another one on the shelf. I wanted to speak to the manager who of course was not available so I left the product, with the receipt and a note explaining the situation with my phone number. Either she threw it all away and put the item back on the shelf, or the manager never bothered to return the call.
I might add this is the second poor return experience I have had at this location. The first time she also claimed the product was used. And they key cutting is more expensive then the Home Hardware down the street near Manning.
