  • After our last experience at Lowes, I think we will be choosing a different location. We purchased 2 fans with lights for our back patio and had some pipe cut and threaded by a Lowes employee. Lowes provides complimentary threading. My son-in-law went to put up the lights and one of the lights the fan would not work so he had to pack up and drive the 30 minutes to Lowes to exchange it. They gave him a replacement one and he said it sounded like there was something broken in it. They assured him it was packed tightly and would not be broken. He took it home an put up the fan which worked but then realized the globe was broken. Now he had to pack up everything and head back to Lowes to exchange it. Last night my son-in-law went to put the ends on the threaded pipe and they are not threaded correctly so he will have to go back and hope they give him another piece of pipe with the correct threading. Never once has anyone apologized for this inconvenience, it seems to be just the norm for them.
