| - I purchased an Amazon Local deal - 3 rooms for $39. I called to schedule and was told that I would have to pay additional costs since one room had pet urine stains and needed enzyme cleaner as well, which I was fine with since I understand the need. The gentleman came on time, did the job, and left.
I was happy at the time he finished but by that evening I was unhappy.
* The carpet in the bonus room was extremely wet (other two rooms weren't as wet) and took more than three days to fully dry.
* That evening I looked closer and I could see that most of the stains looked like they hadn't been cleaned, more just like they had gotten wet and left. This carpet is 6 months old and is not cheap carpet. I have a Spot Bot that can get all of the stains up, but I didn't want to use it numerous times so I thought I would get the entire room cleaned instead.
* 1st USA Carpet Cleaning claims to be the leading Phoenix carpet cleaners, as well as being the most extensive green carpet cleaning company in the industry today (taken directly from their website). The products they used were so full of chemicals that my daughter has allergy issues whenever she is home. This is not green.
The website states that they have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, 100% Money Back Guarantee, and that their staff puts the highest priority on having your carpets cleaned and all of your cleaning needs met to the highest standards possible. The website has an area that says 'Click Here to read our service guarantee' however there is nothing to click, no link what-so-ever.
I called today (less than one week after service was provided) to see if they would live up to their 100% guarantee and was deeply disappointed. The gentleman I spoke with was the same one that came and did the cleaning, and he was very defensive. The only solution he offered me was that in six months' time, when I had the carpets cleaned again, that he would do it for me for free. I explained that the one area was still so badly soiled that it needed to be redone, and he didn't change his offer. I tried to ask how their guarantee would cover this and he didn't have any answer, more defensive responses about how it was my fault or my carpet's fault. I explained that the carpet comes clean when I use my little Bissel Spot Bot, and that the carpet was 6 months old, but the gentleman didn't waiver. I finally explained that if he couldn't fix this I would have to get someone else in immediately to fix this and he said okay and ended the call.
I am currently filing a complaint with the BBB and have an appointment for Stanley Steemer to come out and clean the carpet properly. I am extremely unhappy with 1st USA Carpet Cleaning and would not recommend them to anyone.
