I was introduced to Revolution of Love spin class via a personal invite. I had no clue what I was getting into other than I would be on a bike. The location is in an area that one would not expect to have this type of gem located. I like to call it a diamond that you have to dig for. Even when you arrive you enter a side door and go up a flight of stairs for a pre-workout. When you arrive to the room it has black walls with mirrors. The logo on the wall is an instant reminder of why you are there...love! Love of self (self care) and love for others. The instructor Rob greets you with an authentic, huge smile and open heart. I'm sold. I'm used to these glamorous spin classes with these traditional instructors looking perfect in their cutesy sports gear. This is not a place for cute. This is a place to let all the facade of ourselves go and to check out the ego at the door. A video that I saw promoting the class coins it perfectly, "church, club & yoga class". I experienced all of this as I pedaled my rusty legs to the beats of Jennifer Lopez, TD Jakes and Alicia Keys. Not only did my rusty legs get their strength on but so did my heart and mind. I did not think I could experience all these different emotions on a bike but I did. While I do not live in the area, I would travel for my weekly dose of inspiration and heart work (physically, emotionally & literally too!). Highly recommend to anyone who wants a new spin on "spinning" and is looking not only to do outer work but inner work. 5 Stars here and in my heart *****
