I've been to the Carmine's in NYC many many years ago, and more recently to this Las Vegas location. I have also have come to learn that the Chicago Carmine's has no relation to either of these which may be the reason I don't seem to care of Carmine's in Chicago... yet I digress. Carmine's Las Vegas can be best described by three words: large, hearty, Italian.
We ended up here with a huge group of friends a couple months back when in Las Vegas and of course did everything family style. They serve all the Italian classics you can possibly dream of and are not shy at all with the portions. My favorite was the rigatoni! Their red sauce has that nice deep and rich flavor to it. Yums!
Anyways, would highly recommend making reservations ahead of time as it does seem to be quite the popular spot. No issues with the service here. Very prompt to grab you another drink and refill your waters, which is always appreciated when you find yourself drinking on and off the entire weekend in Vegas. I'll have to say its definitely a bit on the pricier side of the spectrum, but with the large portions you'll definitely have leftovers to take home. So all in all you do seem to get what you paid for.
Not sure I got much else on this one. 'Til next time, cheers!
