Reception staff was insensitive to patients. They are short with people and dictate orders rather than engage in conversation. Come here. Sit back down. Come back up here. Now sit down. Now you're going down the hall to sit somewhere else. Not a please or a thank you or even a smile. In fact eye contact was too much to ask I guess. They demand copayment in advance and then leave you standing there without explanation while they spent 11 minutes calling other locations to get someone to run the credit card for them. There was one elderly woman who was seriously uncomfortable and having trouble with the aerobic exercise of constantly coming back to the counter and then sitting down again but the reception staff was oblivious to it and as rude to her as they were to me.
The lab technician and Doctor both did a great job. They were both kind and sensitive to the patient's needs and did their best to make the patient and procedure as comfortable as possible.
5 stars for the actual medical treatment. 0 stars for the office staff that makes you drive across town to pick up a generic instruction sheet they could have emailed you. If the office staff would refine their practices and attitudes to be patient centric this place would do much better. Until then I will go back to the NW location where I was treated with more respect.
