| - I apologize for this long but much needed review! So ignore this, or speed read, and I hope some info is helpful to you in selecting this Best Buy for your purchases. I'm expressing a very late thank you to Brandon at Best Buy's Pacific Kitchen and Home (Spring Valley--Arroyo Crossing location). Last year I was in need of new appliances for my kitchen, and admittedly overwhelmed and managing some health challenges. It was just bad timing for me then. So Brandon approached me at Best Buy as I browsed, and he ultimately provided kind, knowledgeable, and consistent help in my purchase of a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and over-the-stove vent. That's a lot! I mean, my old appliances were from the Jurassic Park era--like me--and technology has changed! Don't know if that's all good, but that's another story! So the selection and purchase took a few visits but Brandon was wonderful in explaining the appliances, features, comparables, costs and warranties, and he also coordinated the deliveries. He was adept at multi-tasking. In the beginning I was very unconfident of the measurements I took of my kitchen spaces, but Brandon arranged for two fellows to come to my home pre-purchase to professionally measure. That is offered by Best Buy, when needed. Once we had those measurements Brandon helped me select the right sized appliances with features that appealed to me. The over-the-stove vent was not offered in-store. So Brandon's meticulous manner was at its best when he patiently researched online over-the-stove vents and measurements (offered through Best Buy) to ensure they were not too wide--even by an eighth of an inch on both sides. So even though the guys measured accurately, Brandon knew to "deduct a bit" on both sides so we really found one that fit---and he was right. Had he just gone by the standard width of the space over the stove, a vent would not have fit. Brandon was also right in adding whatever appropriate hoses, cords and parts I needed for each appliance. The vent cord was on back order, so he even tried to see if I could use an alternative brand, but I could not. But Brandon guided me every step of the way and soon the vent company's cord came in. I live my life being kind and respectful to people, and I am a positive person, but sometimes we look back at a moment or two where our general frame of mind wasn't the best. I was just weary then and overwhelmed. I'm not making excuses. Perhaps that translates into high maintenance. I hope not. Brandon spent a lot of time with me. I mean, these are not real problems in life--to "have to" buy new appliances. I thanked him but I should have thanked him more. I did commend him to the appliance manager several times last year! Now I need a new washer and dryer and I want to go to him, and we'll see. Brandon - if you read this, call me if you remember me!! In summary, this is an amazing location to purchase appliances, and I did a lot of that, and assuming Brandon is still there, I fully recommend asking for him if you are looking for an employee who excels in customer service! A lot of the employees there are great also! This Best Buy is the best location, and I attribute that to my experience last year.
