Decided to check this place out for their 50% off deals for sushi. I was curious about the quality and wasn't expecting much, and good thing I had low expectations lol.
I ordered about 5 rolls so I could get a good idea of their menu. The only one that was decent was the lobster roll, but even that had too much sauce in it. The crunchy rolls were covered with a weird batter which was very unexpected. I am used to the crumbly, panko-like exterior. The shell was not really crunchy and didn't have much flavor. I feel like most of their rolls are just bland and they try to impart flavor through excessive use of sauce.
Overall, I wouldn't come back here for the sushi, even with the discount. The quality is just bad and I would rather pay a few more $ just to have something that I would enjoy eating. If you really don't mind the taste I guess this would be a good place to satisfy your sushi cravings without hurting your wallet that much. I may come back in the future to try their other food items, but that's if I don't have any other places to try lol.
