  • Cute coffee shop! I was on this side of town today and my friend suggested we meet here. She hadn't been either but found it on Yelp appropriately. It was a better suggestion than Starbucks, that's for sure. The woman who greeted me at the front was warm and friendly as she suggested some non-caffeinated options for my sensitive soul. She asked if I wanted a punch card but I declined since I'm barely ever in Laveen. Since I don't react well to caffeine generally I opted for the hot chai latte. It was Chaiday Friday so my drink was $.50 off, woohoo. I also ordered the plain waffles with Nutella and bananas since my breakfast was a simple bowl of cereal. I liked my drink, no frills and a bit watery but I overdid it by pairing it with the sweet waffles. These were really good though, I didn't even need the syrup but still used half of the side container on my plate. I liked the vibe here and it was so nice to catch up with my friend and not feel rushed to leave. Kudos to the fam running this spot and love the local flavor!
