  • About a month ago, I had a severe case of sudden onset vertigo. I went to Summerlin Hospital, and they referred me to this practice for a follow up as I did not have a PCP. This place is really close to my house, on Buffalo and Westcliff right next to the delicious Bagel Cafe. They are open Mon-Thurs from 8-5 and Fri from 8-3. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Alfreda as recommended by the hospital, but he was not taking any new patients for at least a month. I needed to get in right away, so they told me that Dr. Ghadishah was available in 2 days, so I made an appointment with him. The few ladies that I spoke to on the phone were very pleasant, and the ladies at the front desk were very nice as well. Even the nurses were friendly! Dr. Ghadishah (Gad-ah-shaw) was a nice man. He explained vertigo is usually a problem within the inner ear that cannot be seen. This makes it hard to know if that is for sure what is going on, but based on my symptoms this was the best guess. He prescribed me 2 oral medications and also gave me two shots. He also wanted me to get some bloodwork and an ultrasound of the heart, just in case there was something else going on. I was happy that the blood work AND the ultrasound are both done in house so I didn't have to go anywhere else. This is basically a one stop shop and I LOVE that. By the next morning, I was already feeling a little better, yay! I had to go back in a couple weeks for my results, and everyone was again very nice and pleasant. The only thing is that the wait time is a little long, and I was promised that I would be seen on time for all of my appointments. I won't hold this against them, because let's be real, you are NEVER seen at your exact appointment time. But I don't think that they should tell patients they will be seen right away.
