  • Conjunction Junction, what's your function? To sell nice things to nice people=) Mrs. Huizenga's located at Dundas and Keele is a pretty funky vintage store. The store stocks mostly recycled goods just like an orphanage for vintage personal items, or a super cool garage sale. I purchased a ridiculous piece of furniture there. In retrospect I probably should have thought about it more than a second before buying this monstrosity of an item. It truly competes with everything in the room for the most wrong looking object. It is a fireplace/record player/bar circa 1960-70s. I figured hey, all of my favourite things combined in one unified unit! The store owner arranged for movers to help me with the beast. The store employees were very charming and fun. I think it is a hit or miss type situation with this vintage store, as so many are. The prices seemed reasonably and there was not one pretentious vibe in the store. Worth it for sure to explore if you are in the hood. I recommend this establishment.
