  • Need a cheap clean room? This is your place! Lot of polarized reviews on here but here's the deal: the rooms are SUPER small and it's located on Fremont street so it can get loud. Nothing is "nice" about the rooms and they are old as balls.... but... they are clean and you're not afraid to walk barefoot in your room. It's $29 a night for a basic room, plus another $20 for resort fees which allows you to access a shared gym and pool with a few of the other hotels, plus decent wifi. You can't get that price anywhere else except for Circus Circus and I consider that place to be pretty dirty. You can walk right out onto Fremont St from the hotel and access tons of casinos if you want, plus take in the people watching, this is prime real estate for it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the check in process took so long, they had 1 person working the desk when they should have had 2 or 3. The person working the desk was friendly and nice but really needed help. Tips: - Self parking is free, it's not right next too the hotel but maybe 100 yards away, you have to walk by many of the "crazies" that frequent the area, walk with speed, purpose and a grip on your belongings and you'll be fine. That's Fremont St though, going to be like that for any hotel in that area - You'll enter the self-park area by pressing a button on the automated machine which will give you a ticket and raise the arm, it says "$2 per hour" but it's free for guests. You need to get this ticket validated at the front desk for it to be free. - Get your ticket validated when you're leaving the hotel, not when you arrive, the machine is screwy sometimes and if you validate the night before it may not work the next morning, that happened to us, had to call the hotel and they had to send someone out to open up a gate for us - There is a little store called ABC store when you enter Fremont St from the hotel, just a few stores to the right, can get snacks, food, water and beer (by the bottle if you want), decent prices and quick to get to - There's no refrigerators in the standard rooms, so don't get too much from the store - There's an iron and ironing board the but the board is one of those really small ones that makes you iron on the floor - You can block the noise from outside by turning on the air or heat, it's super loud but constant noise and can help you sleep
