  • An afternoon well spent. Jeremy was our guide and he was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We started at Le Saint Bock, which was great and the poutine we had with the beers was very good. Squeaky curds..so fresh! The second place, L'Amere a Boire, was fun and I loved the staff there. The beers were interesting, too. I can remember what the second one we had was but it was very unique. Not sure I liked it but I'm glad I tried it. The food there was just "meh". Then we had about a 15 minute walk to Benelux and stopped along the way to talk about the history of Montreal a bit. Benelux was a cool place and as this was a Friday around 5:00 pm, it was hopping. I loved the chocolate pairings with the beers. Great way to spend a few hours.
