If you're looking for a little history and a whole lotta cool, the Neon Museum is worth a trip. Pro-tip: Make a rezzy (aka: make a reservation) ahead of time because spots fill up fast. My first visit was a weekday during the PM hours and we had to wait over an hour for an available time slot for the tour. Now I know and now you do it. #learneditsharedit
The entire experience is guided and jampacked with everything you need to know about each sign. The staff is knowledgeable and well trained so you can leave with some cool photos and feel smarter. No videos are allowed but boomerangs are A-OK.
I highly recommend visiting day AND night. Not all of the signs are functioning so you don't get the flashy experience you might be expecting at night. Daytime allows you to see all the detail put into manufacturing this dinosaur signage.
They offer local discounts and memberships so get your booty in there. And if you get married there, please invite me. I would love to attend one of their many weddings.
