  • Funny thing about swing dancing community is that everyone is super nice. Rather than going for a club night where everyone is rather cocky and egoistic, come to a Saturday swing night where your partners will try their very best to communicate with you in every dimension. The nature of swing dance makes communication a must on the dance floor. Instructors at Bees Knees are really experienced and approachable. Their classes are geared to all levels with a mysterious power of community building. I felt included in the community in no time. My instructor - Kris Light - is one of the most delightful person I have ever met. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to work with the rest of the instructors: Jasper, Shannon, Phil, Reesa, James, Arthur and Heather, but I can tell they are all really amazing people with multiple talents during their group lesson. Highly recommended.
