| - Went in to PB to buy a starter I had on reserve. Manager JT, asked me what was going on. After explaining, he was sure it was my battery (which was under warranty) not the starter. He asked if I would mind if he tested it before I made the pricey purchase. Grant the battery had been tested before and tested ok, but hey, for the savings, I'll try again. Sure enough, bad battery. He said give him 15 or 20 minutes and he would have me all set to go (and he checked air on my tires as one looked a little low). Total awesome service and saved me a chunk of change. Highly recommend asking for him personally. While waiting, figured I'd pick up parts my roommate needed for his car. Called him to get him to check a price with autozone so I could compare the two. Another service person heard me talking and jumped in with his smart phone to compare his autozone app against the PB prices. He got all the prices, price matched autozone on the couple PB was not lower. End result was about $30 lower than the amount my roommate found on line. Again, I'd highly recommend Don for help as well. Sometimes it's about who you know. I'm a PB fan for years anyway, but I'll be looking for one of these two guys, JT and Don, for any help l need in the future. Customer service isn't dead, it's just hiding in very special people.
