  • Proud owner of a lemon, We purchased the vehicle Juke 2013 in January. We got the run around from financing which should of been our first sign that something was up, we ended up purchasing the vehicle anyways because it's what the love of my life wanted. Her car was old, we got a really good deal on the trade in and it was a new car. less then a week later the paint started to come off down to the metal. We brought it in showing them a portion of the bumper where it looked as though during assembly it was put on incorrectly which caused the paint to scrape off and flake off. The AC was also making a horrible noise upon first turning on the air. We were told by this location that took it for about two weeks they were going to repaint the entire vehicle. About three weeks later the paint came off the same spot as well as several others. We were also coming back about the AC. Upon bringing the brand new recently "repainted" vehicle back to Nissan and the AC we were told their was an issue with the part to the AC and would have to order. They had the vehicle one day and upon picking it up it was clear it wasn't corrected. Touch up paint was dabbed on certain spots poorly, and their was paint on the brand new leather seats which we still can't remove. We met with the Manager of Service who took photos, our concern down and we even drove the vehicle over to the paint specialist they use to measure the paint density. We were told a .4 or higher was best and several of the spots he tested showed up as .32 .35 .27 so it proved to us that the vehicle had lack of paint or something. The manager instructed us that we would be getting a call either way from him about Nissan's decision in the matter . A month later I called to speak to him, left a message. I have since called Nissan Consumer Affairs and have an open case looking into this. Now I have a 11 year old Honda CRV that looks 10 times better then this Nissan and I used and abused this thing since I have owned it. Not sure if it is the quality of cars these days, or lack of service, or combination but we are shelling out a lot of our money for this car, we aren't expecting the moon and the stars but we do expect there to be a level of customer service that has been lacking in this country, a level of care and detail to do the job right, and a little bit of humility saying you know we messed up, we are sorry, lets fix it lets make it right. Still hasn't happened. Will never buy a Nissan again.
