They are trying to be very fancy with the bistro bit, but the food was uninspired and just ok. Authentic Indian food? Absolutely not. Upmarket, contemporary or experimental Indian food? Nope. Just basic decent food, with basic items on the menu for it to be called Indian food--the usual suspects like butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Absolutely nothing that I would pay this price for. I'd rather take my money and Indian food palette to 259 Host. This is a North Americanized version of Indian food, clean and neat place, everything tastes ok but not delicious.
I think I'll forever associate the word "ok" with this place because that's what comes to mind about the decor, service and every dish we ordered--meat samosas, chicken tikka masala, stuffed naan etc.
