Olbrich Botanical Gardens was our first stop in Madison this past weekend and what a way to kick off the long weekend than to explore some beautiful gardens! You could easily spend an hour or more here just wandering the gardens so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and if you happen to explore during the warm summer months be sure to put on some bug repellent. I failed to do so and left with quite a few mosquito bites on my legs =/
Note that this one is free to explore & free to park! Who doesn't like free? The only thing that will cost ya is to explore the conservatory if you choose to do so, but only $2! Cool! Donation are also gladly accepted as well.
Anyways, not sure I actually have much more to say on this one other than to check the website for hours and have those cameras ready. Plenty of great spots for photo ops and apparently they host weddings here as we saw a ceremony being setup in the middle of one of the gardens.
'Til next time my friends, cheers!
