Here's where five hungry females descended upon after hiking five and a half miles at nearby Hartwood Acres. I don't care which gender you are--when you've been hiking on a winter's morn, you'll chow down afterwards! I think we all started with the soup and we spilt an appetizer of the fruit and cheese plate. Nothing warms you up like a good cup of hearty soup!
Feeling a bit adventurous, I tried the grilled chicken sandwich with szechuan barbeque and sweet potatoes. That got my tastebuds warmed up and my innards warmed too! Mmmm, metabolized so quickly! My girlfriends tried the sun dried tomato wraps and I believe a couple of 'em went for the fish hoagies.
Hartwood Restaurant is the closest sit-down restaurant to Hartwood Acres. It's worth a stop if you're going to a summer concert or to the Festival of Lights.
