| - I'm updating my review, which was previously 4 stars. I now believe this place to be highly annoying. I was willing to wait 2 hours on opening night for the novelty. I've been back 3 times with the intention of buying donuts for special occasions to share with friends and family (various times between 5-8pm), and each time was over an hour wait, with only 20 or 30 people in line. I finally gave up all 3 times when I realized that I didn't physically move in the line for 15 minutes. Meaning, I've made 4 trips there with only one trip resulting in a purchase. I understand they have a specific strategy they are implementing to keep up with the demand and the 3-hour process to make donuts. However, I know there are ways they can get around this. Employ more people and buy another oven. Basically, it's not possible to be spontaneous and stop by this place for donuts whenever you feel like it. And that just ruins the fun experience. I think people will quickly tire of this, and neglect to be repeat customers if the service isn't improved.
Original review: Definitely some of the best donuts I've ever had. We got a dozen assortment and every donut I sampled was amazing. The chocolate donut with Oreos and gummy worm was my absolute fave. My only complaint is that we waited two hours in a line of about 60 people. Yes, we were crazy for doing that. The line really wasn't that long (and you'd think donuts would sell in a quick manner), but it was opening day and people were hand-picking their dozens very slowly because the Donuts had no labels to tell what flavor they were. Their t-shirt promotion kept slowing everything down (buy a t-shirt in advance, jump to the front of the line), and people kept showing up with these t-shirts and pushing the line back. That was pretty annoying, but I consider it an exception because it was opening day. I look forward to going back in a few weeks when the novelty has worn off. They make great donuts, so I hope they continue to do well.
