Had such a blast during our Tom car rides in the desert. We met our guides and went over some quick safety tips and were on our way. One guide stays in the front and the other in the back. We had about 6 cars of people doing the adventure.
The guides mentioned that we can only go as fast as the pack will allow as it is important to stay close to each other to prevent from getting lost or hit with too much dust. We got lucky with our group but we heard from other friends and colleagues who were in town for the conference and also did the excursion that they went pretty slow at times because of one particular car. Not cool for something that's supposed to be adventurous if you're going slow.
It was great learning about the natural wildlife and we even saw wild horses. Id recommend the experience to anyone!
