A brand new brewery in the ever-expanding brewery scene in Charlotte. There are six beers on tap with only one IPA, which is great.
The place is clean with high ceilings and concrete floors. It's in a space that looks like it used to be a warehouse. Cool looking bar that has a saloon type vibe.
I ordered the Agate Have It brown ale. The fella had the honey porter. Our tab was $11 for two beers. Each were easy to drink with moderate ABV. This brewery doesn't have some of the high gravity offerings of other breweries.
Flights were also an option. The main reason for the four stars is the beer descriptions. Beers were compared to Miller and Coors or Yuengling. If I wanted a Miller Lite, I'd pick one up at Publix. Additionally, one of the beers was reviewed as one "women will gravitate towards." Gentlemen, women drink all types of beers. Make your menu less presumptuous.
