  • Review regarding UNHYGIENIC Brazilian wax: The place looks great inside, and there is parking so it's not hard to get to, but I'm going to be really real about this. I asked the lady at the front desk how much is a Brazilian wax, and she told me $35. Great! Let's do it! So I go in, everything seems normal, there is minimal pain which made me feel like the lady Lee (or also goes by Lily) knows what she's doing... Well, because it was so painless, I almost fell asleep to be honest, but when I looked over to the waxing stand, I just realized that she was double, triple, quadruple, DIPPING. This lady was NOT throwing out the sticks after every use. She noticed that I noticed and then threw the current one she was using out and used a new one, but then continued going with the same one over and over again! I'm so stupid for not telling her to stop... but that's besides the point. Honestly, I wish I could have given her a 5 star but the hygiene thing is huge for me. Also, when I got home I realized she left a BUNCH of long hairs, even after clean up. Now the WORST part about this whole experience was that when I went to the counter, they tried to charge me $40 because I had my butt waxed as well... Excuse me? I got a Brazilian wax right? Brazilian waxes traditionally include the crack, and if they don't they should have told me that it's $5 extra... So while the lady worked quickly and painlessly, the experience was misleading and gross. FAIL. Now excuse me while I take my tweezers to my crotch. Edit 1 month later: I just want to say, this was by far the worst wax I ever had. In the past month I have experienced tons of massive volcanic cystic ingrown hairs that have caused me pain, scarring, and embarrassment! I figured out why the wax was totally pain free... She was not waxing my hair by the root but just breaking the hair from the surface. This left the hair to grow back sideways and nearly every single one that grew back was an ingrown. Also, for the new hair growth, usually when I wax, the hair is thin and soft looking at the tip... these hairs from this wax are thick and blunt as if I shaved and are all crinkled looking (not in a normal pubic way... they actually look like crumpled paper). Don't go here... unless you want to have vag scars.
