| - Great and affordable French food in Aria
My recent trip to Vegas caused me to eat at 3 different French restaruants: Bardot Brassiere, Mon Ami Gabi, and Bouchon. Bardot Brassiere was by far my favorite one.
We went there for brunch at 11AM, had reservations but the restaurant was about 1/4 empty so not sure if it's necessary. The restaurant is located inside the Aria, and is very tastefully decorated with a nice excerpt from Heminingway on the wall. The hostess quickly sat us down, and the waiter quickly came by, got us water and menus. While waiting to place our order, they brought over French bread and butter. Some of the best French bread I had, although I've had better butter (was still tasty).
I got the goat cheese and mushroom quiche, while my friends got the French Toast. The quiche is literally the best quiche I've ever had (Admittedly, I haven't had many quiches). It was rich, flavorful, and the mushrooms were absolutely scrumptious. The small salad (e.g. pieces of lettuce) that came with it were seasoned simply, but also yummy. The French toast was the largest piece of toast you'll ever see (literally it's the size of your face). It comes with some sort of caramelized nut triangle on top, some whipped butter, and an amazing syrup (I don't even know how to describe it). Every bite was delicious and rich, and given that the French toast was probably at least 1 to 2 lbs, we were unable to finish it.
I would definitely come back here in the future if I have another chance. The Nutella sticky bun looks amazing, and I'm also a sucker for the Prime Rib French Dip.
