  • My Little Man Kylie, an 18 year old Umbrella Cockatoo, unexpectedly died on Oct. 3rd. I was such an emotional mess, and still am...but Dan Heuerman made my Goodbye as easy as possible. There was no rush and he told me to take my time with 'KyKy'. I did request to have two wing and two tail feathers removed. I said my Goodbyes and I felt so at peace leaving my baby in the hands of PALS. We requested same day service. We decided to keep his ashes in a little cedar box with a red heart with 'Kylie' in scripted on it. His little box sits on a shelf in our recently renovated aviary room. We can't thank Dan and his team enough for their kindness and support. I highly recommend PALS. Again, thank you, PALS!!!
