| - There are plenty of good restaurants at Downtown Summerlin, but we love to support the annual Restaurant Week, so we decided to stop in here on a recent weekday. The food was fine, and the price was right--especially considering that some of our $20 lunch was going to a good cause!
My husband had the avocado rolls and the Crave burger. Not much to say about the rolls, but the burger was pretty good. I had the edamame and bento box, and I think I got the better bargain. The edamame was delicious--among the best I've ever had--served warm with a tasty Sriracha soy glaze. The bento box was chock-full of delights, from fruit and salad to fried shrimp and four different types of rolls (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and cucumber). We both had the mini blueberry cheesecake for dessert, which was served parfait-style. As I said, the food was fine, but nothing (except for that awesome edamame) was compelling enough to bring me back.
Service was good, although they brought out our entrees before we had finished our appetizers. While waiting for our food, I read their happy hour menu, and that looks like a promising deal. Much of the menu reads like the Yard House happy hour, which is one of my favorites, so if I lived nearby, I think I would stop in occasionally for that. But otherwise, I think I will try one of the other Downtown Summerlin restaurants next time I am in the area.
