My first attempt to visit this museum was on one of their "first Friday" nights.. the place was packed.. the line reached down the side walk and into the street.. unfortunately they hit capacity and we were given free passes to visit on another day..
I did have the opportunity to visit again and am so glad I did .. the Frida Kahlo exhibit was beautiful.. paintings by both Frida and Diego and photographs of the couple and their lives filled the hall.. they had selfie photo stations and art stations for the kids.
I enjoyed the American Indian art on display and the tour guides were friendly and funny and kept their groups entertained..
I spent two hours roaming around this place and still think i missed some rooms.. I will definitely be back .. they have a restaurant on the grounds also with patio seating..
