| - The last experience there pushed me to 'Yelp' about it.
I've been to HoB many times since it opened. At first i wasnt really a fan of their corporate feel, as I like the low-key Agora / Grog shop charm more. However, now that im in my late 20s i REALLY appreciate the option to have nice, comfortable seating on the upper balcony area. You get a great view, the acoustics are great, and there's 2 bars up there, very nice!
Ive only eaten there once before, and was unimpressed. THIS time however our waitress Gina made my day. I wanted the strawberry lemonade, but knowing it would be half ice i asked if the refills were free - NO "but for you they are :)' Win. We also had a BOGO coupon - which she let us keep so 'we;d come back again' - very smart, because now I feel like i have to because she was so nice.
We got the fried artichokes and they were phenomenal. Came with two delicious sauces, cooked perfectly with lemon wedges. I got the pulled pork sammich for $10 which was a B, good size, good sauce, and the hot sauce tray they had on the table came in handy.
My GF got a burger which was average, nothing special but not bad for a chain. I didnt like their shoe string style fries but she did, and the cole slaw wasnt bad either.
You get to sneak into the HoB concert when you leave from the restaurateur part which is a plus as well.
For the super thrifty - she didnt ask to see our Entertainment card /wink
