  • Joe's Grottto is in the corner of a strip mall . Average size space for a rock club . Bar area was separated from stage area . I'm not sure if you can take drinks by the stage ..I didn't see any . Great view of bands from any area. All of the bands had GREAT sound -thumbs waaaayyy up to whoever runs the mixing board ! Circle pit , moshing , head banging or just chill - there was space for all . They even had a water container side stage for patrons . Earplugs were for sale too -both interesting nice touches . The only small detail (and it's very small) was the merch table had lights on through the performances . The staff was very cordial -no drama. Surprisingly it was colder than I expected . I'm used to sweating at this type of venue . This is a bare bones place where the focus is on the music - definitely a place to check out for a great show !
