I called to see if there was an appointment available the next day.
Instead of answering the question, the guy on the phone decided to comment "it's a little last minute isn't it." Thanks mom, now do your job and answer the question. Can I give you my money tomorrow or not?
You don't get to lecture me. I'm calling to get a haircut, I'm not asking you to extend the deadline on a report I'm late on. Smartass comments such as "uh it's a little last minute isn't it" have NO place when a customer calls asking for availability.
I'm sure you guys know to cut hair (after all, you seem to have enough customers already), but I'm not talking to your receptionist or whoever that was ever again. Tell him to go take a course in customer service before he wrecks your reputation.
As for me, I just booked an appointment with my current barber instead. They serve me espresso and sparkling water every time I visit - and most importantly, they don't try to give me unsolicited advice on life skills.
