  • You Have 5 Days to Cancell!! Me and my wife went in for a 120 minute presentation which the comedian selling us on the idea of vacation ownership told us the time would be reduced to 45 mins which it was. All in all we ended up spending over 3.5 hours getting through everything to include signing the contract. Two different sales persons lead us to believe that with our membership we could use any of the Sapphire Resort properties free of charge after we paid our membership and maintenance fees in full. They also stated that they would give us 5,000 credits for any week long vacation destination in their resorts or RCI's. Here comes the catch. When we reviewed the paper work and looked through their vacation book not a single destination was for 5,000 credits. Every destination was for well above the 5,000 credits that they gave us for one week free! We called the booking agent and member services to confirm what the Time Share Agents lead us to believe only to find out the truth. Good thing we went over our contract and read the option to cancel clause that gave us 5 days to cancel with a full refund so long as it was in writing. In closing the shark teeth came out and they were not so cheery or friendly when we were adamant about our cancellation. Thank God we dodged a bullet!
