| - This restaurant in the Aria delivers excellent Cantonese food served elegantly in a lovely setting. We started with HK Soup of the day and fried tofu and mushroom soup. I am not partial to HK style soup because it is slightly sweet and fruity but the one of us from HK liked it a lot. My clear chicken soup with mushrooms and tofu was light but flavorful. Just right. Main dishes- ground pork topped with salted fish, tasty down-home Guangzhou fare; scallops with noodles, quite delicious, noodles properly cooked, probably a bit of a mistake to get scallops that had to travel so far, though, because hard to keep that elusive, subtle, ultra-fresh scallop taste; the ribs were fresh and both tender and tasty; the pea plants were truly excellent, as fresh as could be, perfectly cooked, and not a bit woody or stemmy. Dessert was a chocolate creme brulee with warm citrus sauce poured on top to melt through the chocolate dome, both fun to watch and delicious to eat.
