| - I think they teach you around third grade that as a lady you should never cheap out on treatments for your lady parts. I'm pretty sure you do an arts project and sew it on a throw pillow or some crap like that. So when I saw their groupon, I was apprehensive, but won over in the end by their overall proximity to the gym. I clearly should have made a pillow that said, "Be less lazy."
Anyway, I made the appointment by phone, which was great as they had a ton of openings pretty much immediately. I went in and I have to say, damn, that place is clean. Whoever chose the color scheme, kudos. It is clean, light, and not the faux French country so many salons in Summerlin have going on... There was plenty of seating and after filling out a quick form for their use about my skin, etc., I was ready to go.
I got a service from Nicole, who was very good at making the whole stranger and me without pants half hour so much less awkward. She used a hard and soft wax, she was just about as gentle as I can imagine a waxer could be and still accomplish her job. It ranked very low on the yoga positions involved that I have experienced at other waxers, and in the end she applied a really great Tea Tree and Lemon Antibacterial Lotion that I'm annoyed I didn't purchase back at the front desk.
So why 4(.5) instead of 5 stars? The tv in the room was set to King of Queens. The last thing you want to hear is god-awful Leah Remini butching up your wax experience. But other than that, this place is truly excellent and I will be bookmarking it for future appointments with Nicole.
