We love skating at Crystal Palace. It's been updated and they have a really cool mural on the far wall and all kinds of neon decor. The bathrooms have been redone and updated and are much nicer than they used to be. They have the walkers for kids who can't skate well which is fantastic for the smaller kids. They played decent music and have fun activities for the kids during the skate sessions. All of my kids ages 3, 5 and my tweens love going to Crystal Palace. The food isn't great and you have to pay for everything in cash if you buy things piecemeal or pay an ATM fee of $2.50. They will take a card for purchases over $25 I think, but that gets hard when the kids want this to eat or buy that or you decide to rent the walkers after you already entered and paid to skate. They also had a lot of rules and regulations which can be a bit of red tape to actually getting your skates on and getting on the floor, but I think it helps things run smoothly so it's hard to complain about that. Overall it's a great place and super fun and safe for the kids. I even brought my skates and skated last time and it was super fun.
