| - Before I begin, I am quite surprised about how many 1-star reviews there are... I've had a wonderful experience with them.
Early April of this year, the front of my car was completely wrecked in a car accident during a vacation up in Portland, OR. I got my car fixed at a local shop there (took almost 3 weeks) and drove it down. I did not noticed it back then, but the AC did not work properly. Once the Las Vegas heat started, I found out that the AC does not blow cold enough air.
My car is not even a year old (brand new 2014 Honda Civic), so I took it to the dealership (Findlay Honda Henderson) to get the AC fixed. They had my car for 9 days. When I got my car back, the service consultant told me that they had put in brand new condenser and that I had nothing to worry about.
The AC still didn't work. It sometimes blew hot air when the setting was at the lowest temperature. I called them back, but they never answered my calls or e-mails. I even visited them to confront them, but all he told me was he did his best. So I guess doing their best at the dealership means doing nothing.
Because of 90 day guarantee from the auto shop up in Portland, the auto shop representative in Portland sent me to Frank's Auto Body. When I took the car in, Frank took a look inside the front, and told me the dealer had not put in brand new condenser, but a old one. Some of the front parts were also loose. Anyways, he told me he was going to keep the car for about 5-6 business days to get everything fixed. Frank called me twice while my car was in the shop to notify me of the progress so I am not in the dark about what is going on. It is
I picked up my car yesterday, on time as planned. My car looks amazing, and the AC works so well. Except I ran into another issue driving it back. Some clips/screws came loose under the car and the sheet metal was scraping the road... I was so upset about it but the shop was already closed and I could not do anything about it right away. I called to leave a message, and sent an e-mail with photos attached to it.
Frank called first thing in the morning today to tell me that he is going to send a person to secure the sheet metal back to where it belongs. That is a great relief for me because I live on the other side of the town in Southwest, and his shop is in Henderson. So I am very happy about how he quickly responded and how he handled the issue.
I would definitely recommend them!
