| - The barristas are friendly and know their stuff. The coffee macchiato is very good, the sweets are fresh and change daily. Small and medium macaroons (1.99 and 2.35) are tasty and chewy, the big one I had (4.99) was a bit stale. They had chocolate-pecan brownies yesterday - divine! Fresh loafs, croissants, baguettes, I got the honey loaf, small and pricey - 5.25, but it was soooo good!
My son got a "chocolate pyramid" - chocolate-orange mouse, shaped like a pyramid. As we cut inside - It had a white mouse burial chamber! We dug canals and added a chocolate pharaoh! That was fun, but the taste was so-so, the ganache was a bit grainy.
I am taking one star off only because of the small, cramped space. I wish they had one or two miniature tables outside on the sidewalk!
