  • If heaven were a food it would be most of the items on the Roma Deli menu. Fresh gnocchi, homemade sauces ("gravy" as us Italian Eastcosters call it), and Italian pastries. More specifically they had a killer special on an item called "Sicilian eggplant lasagna" and I am still daydreaming of this dish today. Rich, delicious, flavored to perfection... The only thing I won't do again is waste my taste buds on a salad before hand, I must save all the room for the entree and dessert!! Lunch or dinner, if you are craving REAL Italian food, this is your spot.
