  • Terrible service. I needed to buy mardi gras necklaces for a craft. They had two left that were the usual circle size; they had several oval shaped ones but at least I got the last two circular ones. When we went to pay, there was one lady checking out, no one else in line, and four staff behind the counter. Once the lady checked out, two of the staff disappeared. One went to blow up balloons. The other started counting his drawer. My husband and and I waited for about 10 minutes before my husband asked if we could check out. The guy said he needed to finish counting his drawer but didn't offer to call anyone up. The lady blowing up the balloons just stared at us and didn't offer help. We finally just gave the guy a dollar (they were 40 cents each) and left. I don't mind waiting when there are lines but to be blatantly ignored when no one else was in line was utterly frustrating. My recommendation: go to party city.
