My review is super late (sorry) as this was from my one and only visit last Fall. I had a girlfriend in from out of town and decided to try this place as it was new in Gilbert. I wish we had gone a little further down the block to a restaurant I had already dined at.
We were there on a Friday morning We got there after what I figured was the early rush but still had to wait 15 mins to be sat despite all the open tables (we counted 5 people ahead of us at the counter waiting to be sat). We sat outside as it appeared to be the least busy (bar was wide open and I wish we had sat there, but since she's from a cold weather town we figured let's sit outside). The coffee was undrinkable. I'm not sure where they get it from, but even an artificial sweeter wouldn't help improve the flavor. Our order was pretty straight forward - nothing special or altered from the menu. Yet we waited over 25 mins for the food. Our server never offered an explanation as to what the delay was. When the food finally arrived, my friends omelette was not cooked all the way. She didn't want to risk sending it back as we were supposed to be on the road for a day trip to Flagstaff 15 mins. prior. She picked the ingredients out of the omelette that she could eat and finished my toast, I haven't been able to work up the nerve to go back and try them again. I see the crowds of people waiting outside every Saturday morning as I head into Postino's for my breakfast. I stick with what I know and what hasn't let me down.
