  • Turnover must be high b/c every time I go in or take my son in, they have different people. You never see an actual doctor, just a nurse practitioner or someone who is doing their Residency (a.k.a. training and still in school). My ex and I have a court order that states he pays for half of my son's medical. They don't care, and will bill you if you're the one who brings your child in. Do they bill a babysitter directly if he/she has written permission from the parent to seek medical care? I tell them EVERY time to bill the other half to my son's dad to ensure that it will get paid. If I seek reimbursement from my son's dad, I can't get blood from a turnip, and receiving a physical medical bill from the facility is the only way he will pay. My ex lives in another state. They always smile and say, "SURE! NO problem! We'll bill him for the remainder" and take my half in office... then, they send me the bill for the rest. They apparently have to have his permission to send him a bill, yet they've handwritten a bill to me with my address on it, when he's brought our son in. They make you wait forEVER, even if you check in online. They let kids run around the lobby, which is not something I care to see when I'm not feeling well and want to throw up. They ask what Rx you take, and when you ask them to write a refill, they don't do it for the brand you request. I needed a Ventolin inhaler (which is FREE under my medical plan), which I told them to fill. They requested Pro-Air for my pharmacy, which is a $60 Rx. I had to wait two days for them to straighten it out w/the pharmacy and re-issue the Rx. They also have my name incorrect in their billing system. I've never legally gone by the name they have on record, and when I called to correct it, they kept asking me questions relating to my son's account, when the only thing I wanted to do was correct the information, which is affecting my credit. Monkeys could run this company better. They don't care about what your needs are. They just want your money. I will probably start taking myself and my son to Honor Health.
