| - My daughter chose this buffet for her Bday dinner, we had been there before several years ago (we are locals) but we were all very disapointed. Let me count the ways they failed:
1- Appetizers= Cheese tray was mediocre; the salads too, the soups so salty they were inedible; Caesar Salad had no dressing; Shrimp cocktail had 2 small shrimp and the Ceviche was 1 tablespoon. I realize waste is a problem but this is ridiculous.
2- The Angry Mac and Cheese tasted of runny paprika ugh; Carbonara was tasteless; the gnocchi in pesto was the only thing worth eating; the carving station was quite forgetable with overcooked meat, super salty fried chicken, shrimp and grits badly done, crab legs tasted like sponge, super frozen-
3- Sushi was the saddest I've ever seen, dry and listless- most of the line was empty at (we came in at 7pm) and there were no refills to be seen. The employees were not interested in serving anyone, hanging around together to talk-
4- Desserts- Most of the desserts were nowhere to be seen, all empty shelves and if you asked if there were any more, the employees made like they didn't understand English. The ones I tried were very subpar. And don't call ice cream gelato, there are people that have actually had gelato and know what it is and this is not gelato. Although the Thai Tea and Nutella flavors were good but not excellent.
Above it all this food was not worth $45 a head. No Way. Poor quality and sad food. This buffet has fallen way down and there is no shadow of the buffet it used to be. We will definitely not be returning, leave it for the tourists who will put up with a noisy, bad service place filled with lousy food full of screaming children.
