  • I chose to stay at Caesars because it is located right in the middle of the Strip, with the Bellagio next door and Pars & Ballys right across the street. Aside from the convenience of its location, I had a comfortable stay and I confirm that the $20 trick works like a charm! Upon check in, we discretely placed a folded $20 bill underneath our credit card and driver's license. Immediately, the man helping us asked if we were here for a special occasion and if he could offer us a room upgrade. We told him we were there for our anniversary, and he promptly upgraded us from the Forum Towers standard room to a Palace Tower Junior Suite! I believe this room costs considerably more per night, so we're so grateful to have found http://www.thetwentydollartrick.com/ Our room consists of two washrooms, one walk-in shower with TWO shower heads! There was also an en suite Jacuzzi, a spacious living room, mini bar, four closets, and a really comfortable king sized bed. Our room was on the 27th floor, and had a nice view of the pools. I'm not sure why there are so many complaints of having to walk so much to get to the rooms, but after eating the Buffet of Buffets, I'm glad to walk some of the calories off! Palace towers is right by the pool, which is open everyday. It starts to get packed around 11am, so arrive early to secure a spot! The Forum Shops consists of retail shops of all levels - from Burberry to H&M - and restaurants like Max Brenner (see my review of them) and the Cheesecake Factory! I recommend registering for a Total Rewards card after checking in, as you will receive $10 credit for food/drinks, shopping or gambling after 72 hours. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but on the first night, me and my boyfriend both won around $400.00 on the slot machines! I don't know if this was a 'welcome win' since we inserted our Total Rewards card in the slot machine, but it definitely made our day! The dealers at the three-card poker tables were all a bit grumpy and unfriendly, but Teroy at the roulette table was a delight! If you look under 30 years old, you will be asked to show your ID pretty much at all the tables/casinos. We really wanted to try Bradley Ogden, but were sad to see that it closed down. The buffet at Caesars was also closed for renovations during our visit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Caesars and would recommend to couples looking for an easy room upgrade!
